Zack Leader ended his final race in the Evolution Cup class with a victory, resulting in him being undefeated in the class this season. The Gridline Ellison Gearbolt Racing rider took the title back at Round 5 but hasn't stopped him taking further wins to round off his 2017 season in style.
Leader, 18, is this year's British Gravity Bike Evolution Cup Champion, making him a now 2-time-British-Champion. He defeated his main Evo rival this season, Sam Phillips of Honey I Shrunk The Biker, by 94 points in the championship standings.
Team mate to Leader, Road Racer Joe Thompson, takes 3rd in the series after an impressive debut result at Worlaby for Round 6 of this year's championships.
Zack Leader not only took the British Evo Cup title, but also took the Runner Up spot in the British Gravity Bike Championship, for the second time in two years. With Leader withdrawing from the Evolution Cup class next year to "give those still rising up and those younger guns coming into the sport the chance they deserve", the class could become even more competitive in year's ahead.
